Platform Tennis Individual TRAININg
Our workouts consists of movement patterning, strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on proper technique and the increase in overall athleticism.
Our platform tennis program is offered for individuals of any skill level as a Level 1 and Level 2 Program:
Level 1 is a prerequisite to Level 2 as the primary objective is to teach recreational adult platform tennis athletes the methods of our training system to improve their performance while reducing their risk for injury. Additionally, it gives our training team the opportunity the focus on each person’s individual needs and help develop each athlete’s training blueprint.
Level 2 is offered monthly and builds on the principles learned in Level 1. Increasing strength, sport specific movement patterning, core strength, speed and power will be main points of focus during this program.

WHAT YOU GET
Training groups offered every month with new programming every month to stimulate constant results.
Two group training appointments/week
Group size will be no larger than 10 people.
Groups offered at a variety of times to accommodate a multitude of schedules.
4 week training cycles offered with 1, 3, 6 and 12 month training options.
Complimentary 45 minute Risk Reduction Screen with a member of our Performance Therapy team.
Access to The Edge Recovery Zone which includes cold/hot therapies and the NormaTec Recovery System.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Injury reduction - Identify & Correct Muscular Imbalances, Balance & Stabilization
Flexibility - Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling), Various Forms of Stretching, Muscle Activation
Strength - Master Upper Body and Lower Body lifting techniques as well as Core Strength
Speed - Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Running Mechanics, Footwork
Power - Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Jumping & Landing Techniques
Conditioning - Sport specific conditioning to reduce injury and increase capacity
