Internship Opportunities
At The EDGE Sport Enhancement Training (Glenview, IL), we’re offering a 12-week paid internship designed to help you grow into the next generation of great strength and performance coaches.
If you’re passionate about helping people move, feel, and perform better and you’re eager to learn from experienced coaches in a real-world environment, this internship is for you.
What We're Looking For
- Driven, dependable, and curious learners
- Students or early-career professionals pursuing a degree or certification in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Strong communicators who thrive in a team setting
- A genuine desire to grow personally and professionally
- Upperclassmen or recent graduates living in the Chicagoland area
- Comfortable interacting with clients, parents, and athletes in a professional manner
What You'll Learn
- Observe and assist experienced coaches on the training floor
- Learn how to design and deliver results-driven programs
- Develop communication, leadership, and coaching skills
- Participate in team meetings and collaborative learning sessions
- Contribute to daily business operations, program development, and marketing
Schedule
- The EDGE offers internships during Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, aligning closely with our program sessions.
Interns are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout their 12-week program. -
- Fall: September – November (1 position)
Winter: December – February (1 position)
Spring: March – May (1 position)
Summer: June – August (1 position)
