Authenticity

Be you.

We value genuine personalities, honest conversations, and people who are comfortable being themselves. You do not need to impress anyone, have it all figured out, or pretend to be something you are not.

We do not care about your title, your résumé, who you think you are, or who you think you are supposed to be. Walk in, be yourself, stay open-minded, and join a community committed to getting 1% better.

What this looks like at The Edge:
Your coach gets to know the real person—not the job title, the training history, or the version you think you need to present. You are coached as an individual and expected to give others the same room to be themselves.

Do No Harm

Strive for technical perfection while doing no harm.

We want you to reach your greatest potential. Whether that means lifting more weight, moving faster, or trying something new.

But we always ask whether the juice is worth the squeeze and whether what you are doing aligns with what you actually need.

Our job is to put you in a position to succeed and leave the facility feeling better than when you came in.

What this looks like at The Edge:
A coach may limit or modify a movement you struggle with or have a negative history with. We celebrate the win, not necessarily more weight on the bar.

Accountability

We Inspect what we Expect.

Accountability means coaches and clients are held to a consistent standard and take responsibility for their contributions. Clear expectations, regular check-ins, and honest feedback build trust, improve performance, and help everyone take ownership of the process.

What this looks like at The Edge:
Your coach does not hand you a plan and disappear. They regularly review your progress, recognize what is working, and address what needs to change before a small issue becomes a bigger one.

Purposefulness

Do the work. Do it well.

Be on time. Show initiative. Bring energy. Do more than the minimum. Purposefulness means relentlessly doing the simple things well and understanding that the work of mastery never ends.

What this looks like at The Edge:
Your coach brings the same attention and energy whether you are the first session of the day or the last. If you need a modification, extra explanation, or a different approach, they take the time to get it right because doing what is best for you matters more than doing what is easiest.

Transparency

Fair and no BS communication of realistic expectations

We are transparent about how we see situations, challenges, and opportunities. We speak honestly and respectfully so everyone understands the expectations, the direction we are moving, and what needs to happen next—even when that requires a difficult conversation.

What this looks like at The Edge:
Your coach will not tiptoe around an issue or tell you what sounds good. They will address concerns early, clarify what you can expect from them and what they expect from you, and give you constructive feedback designed to make you better.
